Naming and Adoption Ceremonies

Whether you’re welcoming a new baby, celebrating an adoption, or blending your family together, a naming ceremony is a beautiful way to mark the moment with love, meaning and joy.

No legalities. No restrictions. Just a heartfelt celebration in a setting that feels right for you — whether that’s your living room, a garden, a woodland glade or your favourite local venue.

These ceremonies are for anyone and everyone:

  • Adoptive families

  • Blended families

  • Families celebrating a name or gender change

What’s included?

  • A relaxed, no-obligation chat to get to know each other

  • A fully bespoke script written with warmth, imagination and care

  • Support with promises, readings, and ceremony ideas

  • Unlimited calls, emails or Zooms along the way

  • Help with music, layout, timings, and symbolic rituals (if you’d like them)

  • Printed copies of your script, readings and promises

  • A beautifully delivered ceremony on the day

  • Optional keepsake certificates for guideparents or your child

Whoever you are, and however your family is made — you are welcome here.

You’ll always be told upfront about any extras — no hidden surprises. These can be invoiced separately or added to your final balance.

If you wish to proceed, a non-refundable booking fee of 25% of the total price is payable to secure the date/booking. The balance will be due approximately 6-8 weeks before your wedding date, before I deliver the first draft of your script.
