Looking for a personal, meaningful wedding ceremony? Then you're in the right place! I work with couples to write and deliver ceremonies that are full of warmth, joy and a little bit of fun!

Whether you want something simple and heartfelt or packed with personality and a few laughs along the way, I’ll help you bring your ceremony to life in a way that feels real, relaxed, and completely you.

What makes a Celebrant-led ceremony different?

It’s written just for you: No scripts. No standard speeches. Just a ceremony that tells your love story in a way that feels right—whether that’s romantic and emotional, light-hearted and funny, or a bit of both.
Any location, any time: Registry office not your vibe? No problem. With a celebrant-led ceremony, you can say ‘I do’ just about anywhere—from a castle to a campsite, a barn to your back garden. Morning, noon or night—your day, your way.
No clock-watching: Unlike a Registrar, I won’t be rushing off to the next wedding. We take our time. You can breathe, soak it all in, and really enjoy the moment.
All the personal touches: Want to include your kids, your dog, your favourite poem, or a handfasting ritual? Fancy writing your own vows (or want a bit of help with them)? I’ll guide you through it all—and offer plenty of ideas if you’re not sure where to start.
You’ll know who’s standing with you: When you work with me, you’ll know exactly who’ll be standing there on the day (spoiler: it’s me!). Not a stranger who shows up five minutes before.

What about the legal bit?

Good question! At the moment, UK Celebrants can’t legally marry couples—so you’ll still need to do the legal part at the Register Office (usually a quick 10-minute appointment with two witnesses). Most couples do this a few days before or after the big day—then treat the real ceremony as the one they’ll remember forever.

• Support with vows, readings, and ceremony ideas

• One lovely in-person meet-up (coffee and cake encouraged!)

• Unlimited emails, calls or Zooms along the way

• Help with ceremony layout, music, timings and general calming of nerves

• Printed copies of your vows and readings

• A beautifully delivered ceremony on the day

• Optional keepsake certificate for your memory box

Pricing

From £545 for 2025 ceremonies
From £565 for 2026 ceremonies onwards
** Additional costs may include **
- Travel outside a 30 mile radius of Great Ayton. Additional charge of £25 plus additional miles charged at 45p per mile.
- Extra face-to-face meetings: from £25
- Rehearsal at venue, if needed, from £50 plus travel costs if over 30 miles
- Themed outfits or props: at cost (I’m game!)
- Accommodation, if required, usually closest Premier Inn/Travelodge. This may be required if your location is over a 3hr drive away, to also include evening meal
and breakfast.

I’ll always let you know upfront about any extras. No surprises. These will either invoiced separately or added to your final balance.
If you wish to proceed, a non-refundable booking fee of 25% of the total price is payable to secure the date/booking. The balance will be due approximately 6-8 weeks before your wedding date, before I deliver the first draft of your script.

The process and what to expect

• Initial call to have a friendly chat, for you to ask any questions and to see if we’re a good fit.

• Booking is made and your booking fee received.

• Let’s get to know each other – You fill in your questionnaires (separately!) to give me a lovely insight into your story.

• Planning time – We’ll meet up, chat through ideas, and start shaping the ceremony together.

• I get writing – I’ll create a bespoke script full of love, laughter and everything that makes your story unique.

• Tweaks & changes – You get as many edits as you like until it’s just right.

• On the day – I’ll be there at least 1 hour before your ceremony to help co-ordinate the ceremony, ensure everything is set up, welcome guests, steady any nerves and lead a ceremony you’ll remember forever.
